Ready to Find a Robotic Mower Installer in Taunton, Somerset?
We're about 30 minutes away — Taunton's dedicated Mammotion specialist for the county town and the Vale of Taunton Deane. Every machine chosen for your specific garden and supported by someone who makes the journey, not a chatbot. Proper local service.
We visit.
A new-estate plot and a Quantock-foothill garden need different machines. As county town, Taunton has both.
We specify.
Eight models, sized to your actual garden — not a guess made over the phone.
We stay.
Firmware, blades, honest advice — from a Somerset technician who already knows your garden.
Should I order from Amazon?
You can. Lots of people do. Here's the usual outcome.
-
A model's picked from a photo, without knowing if your plot's suburban or rural Quantock ground.
-
The RTK station and manual become your problem, with no one to check the siting.
-
The first map doesn't behave, and support's rarely fast or local.
-
A fault a year or two on means a shipped-back unit and a long wait for a fix.
With us, you skip all of it.
We visit, fit the right model, and stay reachable after — one of the few installers who'll actually turn up and remain available once it's running.
Eight models. One right answer for your lawn.
How it works
1. Enquire
Tell us about your lawn: a photo on WhatsApp - 07386 365286, a sixty-second lawn check, or a phone call. We will tell you honestly if a robotic mower is the right answer for you.
2. Survey
We drive out for a proper garden visit anywhere in Somerset or Dorset. We measure the lawn, check the slopes, look for signal issues, and recommend the specific Mammotion model that will work — not the one we would most like to sell.
3. Install
We deliver the machine, install the dock, set up the RTK reference station, teach your lawn to the mower, and walk you through the app. You watch it mow before we leave.
4. Aftercare
Firmware updates, blade changes, winter storage advice, and a person to call. We are a short drive away, not a helpdesk in another country.
We Know Taunton
As Somerset's county town, Taunton spans everything from compact new-estate plots to substantial rural gardens toward the Quantock foothills and the Vale's apple orchards, all growing a vigorous turf on red sandstone soil. We fitted a Yuka 1000 in the Taunton area in July, so beyond the 30-minute drive from Langport, we've got a live installation in the vale. We're also regularly in Ilminster, Langport, Somerton, and Yeovil either side of Taunton — getting to you was never the hard part of this job.
FAQs
Q1: Does Precision Lawn Robotics cover all of Taunton, including outlying villages?
A: Yes — we cover Taunton town, Wellington, Norton Fitzwarren, Bishops Lydeard, and all surrounding villages across the Vale of Taunton Deane. The free survey applies throughout the area.
Q2: Which robotic mower is best for the Quantock foothills gardens west of Taunton?
A: The steeper, more complex gardens on the Quantock foothills suit the Mammotion Luba 3 AWD range, which can handle significant gradient and multi-zone layouts with ease.
Q3: How long does it take to book an installation in the TA1 or TA2 postcode area?
A: We can typically arrange a free survey in Taunton within a week. Installation is usually completed one to two weeks after survey. Contact us to confirm current lead times.
